2020 fashion is tinged with the colors of tropical fruit thanks to the iBlues Frullage capsule collection
White coconut, papaya orange, banana yellow and strawberry pink, a shades cocktail that evokes the scents and tropical sweetness. Could it be the description of a Caribbean landscape? Not exactly. It is about Frullage, the capsule collection for spring summer 2020 made by iBlues in collaboration with the illustrator Andrea D’Aquino. Already from the name you can understand the concept of mixing, of blend, which characterizes the entire collection: a smoothie part, another collage. THE fruit colors join in geometric and sometimes surrealist motifs, giving life to lively, cheerful and vitaminic patterns.

Three are the creative and green soul artworks created exclusively by Andrea D’Aquino: ‘Fresh smoothie’, an almost creamy graphic in which the sugary nuances of cherry, mango and grapes combine with drawings depicting a minimal fruit salad with a pop aesthetic. It continues with ‘Fruitismo’, another play on words in which fruit approaches the pictorial principles of Surrealism by De Chirico, resulting in clothes that are small works of art. Finally, ‘Too Tropical’ it is a set of images with a carefree and playful allure, with melons and bananas without outline, a fashion abstract art in shades of pear green, date brown, and lychee pink.

Fresh and colorful as a delicious smoothie, Frullage rediscovers the sweet side of the 2020 fashion, with soft silhouettes, lively prints, and an atmosphere of eternal sunset by the sea.
