The very private couple Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse remain very attached to each other after two years of quiet dating – so much so that they discussed getting married … one day. A source tells E! that “Rob and Suki have definitely discussed getting engaged but are in no rush. Suki is not pressuring him and they are both very committed to each other.”
This source added that the couple’s relationship is “stronger than ever” after months of quarantining each other in London. “They like to be low-key together and have very similar interests,” the source said. “They are truly inseparable and in love.”
Pattinson’s family really love Waterhouse, by the way: “[They] thinks they’re a good match, better than any of his previous connections, ”the source said.
Pattinson and Waterhouse were last pictured kissing in London on September 16. The sighting came 12 days after Pattinson was said to have tested positive for COVID-19. The diagnosis prompted production of Pattinson’s new film The batman, which had just resumed, to be “temporarily suspended” on Sept. 3, according to a statement Warner Bros. provided to CBS News.
(The studio has not confirmed that Pattinson was the member of the production who tested positive, but said the individual who did so “is isolating himself according to established protocols.”)
Pattinson and Waterhouse never really talk about their relationship in interviews. R.Patz spoke with the Sunday Times in April 2019, why he’s deliberately keeping his love life private.
He said, “If you let people in, it devalues what love is. If a stranger on the street asked you about your relationship, you’d think that’s extremely rude. If you put up a wall, it ends better. I can ‘I don’t understand how someone can walk down the street holding their hand, and it’s the same as when I do and have a hundred people take your picture. The line between when you’re playing and when you’re not will eventually get blown away and you’ll go completely crazy. “
