Beatrice of York: a unique wedding. In 5 points

On May 29 a new Royal Wedding is expected in the United Kingdom: Princess Beatrice, in fact, will marry Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. A wedding that, in this annus horribilis for the royal family (and in large part also for the world), is eagerly awaited to return to talk about something romantic and light. Especially since Beatrice’s wedding will be different from all the other Royal Weddings for at least five important reasons.

More harvest

Not the 2000 guests of Kate and William and not even the 800 guests of Harry and Meghan. Beatrice and Edoardo chose a truly intimate ceremony, with only 150 guests.

More private

The wedding of the new Royal Couple, of their choice, will not be televised. The reason has not been explained, but for many the choice is probably due to Beatrice’s great confidentiality.

Less gorgeous

Among the peculiarities of the wedding, there will be the choice of the couple not to go by carriage from the Chapel Royal to the reception at Buckingham Palace. Rumours want Beatrice to have decided to give up a double wedding dress to opt for a single dress (perhaps by an Italian designer).

Most discussed

Many events that literally shook the royal family and that could also have repercussions on the wedding ceremony and which for now are manifesting in the form of a question. Will Harry and Meghan participate? And will Prince Andrew, overwhelmed by the scandal, be present? And in what capacity?

More familiar

In the face of the many questions, one certainty: Eugenie had a great gift from Her Majesty. You can have your reception at Buckingham Palace, which, before you, was only granted to William and Kate.
