Bulgari intensifies support to the Italian authorities in the fight against Coronavirus: an important donation of hand sanitizer gel arrives, produced by its longtime partner ICR
More than a month has gone by since patient 1: several companies immediately moved on support the emergency and eradicate Covid-19. Someone changed the production from textile to masks (among these Miroglio, Plissé and Zara), others made important donations to hospitals all over Italy. It was no less Bulgari who immediately moved to support the Spallanzani hospital, in the front line against Coronavirus, for the purchase of a new high-definition 3D microscope extremely avant-garde and indispensable for research.
But the Roman high jewelery company did not stop there, it has just announced a new action: to donate several hundred thousand bottles gel hand sanitizer to medical facilities, with the support of partner of ICR fragrances (Industrie Cosmetiche Riunite, Lodi) and coordination of the Italian Government.
In detail, a production of 6000 pieces per day and, to avoid any form of speculation, this note was written on the label “Bulgari Donation – Not For Sale“.
“I believe that as a major player in the economy and a symbol of Italy, Bvlgari has the responsibility to contribute to the national effort to help prevent, fight and eradicate Covid-19. Thanks to our experience in the field of fragrances, we have been able to develop together with ICR a “disinfectant gel” which will be produced in the Lodi plant where our fragrances are normally made “- said Bvlgari CEO Jean-Christophe Babin – “Aware of the difficult situation we are experiencing, we believe it is our duty to contribute with our know-how and make our production facilities available”.
