Against the coronavirus, the National Chamber of Italian Fashion has launched in recent weeks the project “Italy we are with you”: thanks to which the associates of CNMI have joined forces to a donation program coordinated by the Civil Protection and intended for Italian hospitals.
Now the National Chamber of Fashion looks at the needs of the new generation of stylists with the initiative #TogetherForTomorrow: the project created by Camera Moda Fashion Trust provides for a fundraiser that will be used to support the new generation of Made in Italy, designers and small fashion companies to face the difficulties generated by the expansion of Covid-19.
For the same purpose, Camera Moda Fashion Trust will organize in the coming days a series of webinars for young designers who will thus be able to take advantage of the valuable advice of experts on various topics.
CNMI President Carlo Capasa, whose opinion on the future Vogue Italia collected in an interview published in the April issue, explained: “In this emergency situation more than ever the role of the National Chamber of Italian Fashion emerges: to meet the needs of all the players in the system and to respond promptly with concrete and effective initiatives. The future cannot be separated from young people, for this reason CNMI is alongside the CNMI Fashion Trust and its project entirely dedicated to their support and which is placed alongside other initiatives aimed at addressing the difficulties generated by the spread of the Covid-19 epidemic ” .
Sara Sozzani Maino, CNMI International Brand Ambassador; Deputy Editor in Chief Vogue Italia and Head of Vogue Talents, who in recent days meets the new generation designers also through Digital Portfolio Review initiatives, added: “In this moment of great difficulty that will lead us to a radical change in the way we live and work, it is essential to make a system. CNMI has always believed in the new generation. Today more than ever we must commit ourselves to protecting the made in Italy to allow the future generation to continue, the one in which we believed and supported and which we risk losing today in a few months “.
“Never before has the work of the CNMI Fashion Trust become current and support for young designers is needed. Made in Italy must be protected and supported; now more than ever “ Umberta Gnutti Beretta and Warly Tomei, Co-founders and Co-chairs of Camera Moda Fashion Trust concluded.
