There was no use isolating and fleeing London: the Covid-19 finds its victims even among the British royals. The first to be affected by the virus in the narrower circle of the Windsor family is Charles, the eldest son of the queen.
In recent days the heir to the throne had shown “mild symptoms” but it seems that the evolution of the disease has a benign course. In the meantime, His Highness has self-isolated himself in Scotland with Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, whose buffer is negative.
Charles saw Queen Elizabeth for the last time on March 12, which would bode well for a possible infection. In fact, the days of latency of the virus would have almost passed without the sovereign having manifested symptoms of any kind.
