See Katy Perry’s First Photographed Outing Since Welcoming Baby Daisy

Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom welcomed their first child together, Daisy Bloom, at the end of August. Over the weekend, Perry was pictured for the first time since the birth of her daughter. While this isn’t the first photo of Perry since Daisy’s arrival (Perry shared his own postpartum body selfie on his Instagram), it does offer a rare look at Perry’s late summer style. . Perry wore a green kaftan with pink embroidery, matching green slides, and a straw visor while shopping in Montecito, Calif. She was of course wearing a mask, as the coronavirus pandemic is still very much ongoing.

A witness spoke to E! about Perry’s trip. “On Saturday morning, Katy went out shopping at Pierre LaFond and Wendy Foster. She picked up food, drinks and home furnishings while she was away,” said the witness. “She bought pillows, blankets and baskets from Wendy Foster.” She also had two coffees, as seen in the photo of her.

“Katy looked happy to be out and was very kind and polite,” the source added.

Perry recently made headlines when she shared Taylor Swift’s baby gift to him, Bloom, and their daughter on her Instagram. Swift sent a pink silk blanket with “Baby Bloom” and a hand-embroidered rose flower on it. She also included a handwritten note where she wrote that her most precious possession as a baby was her own silk blanket.

Perry revealed that Daisy already loves it. “Miss 🌼🕊 loves her hand-embroidered miss @taylorswift 😩😩😩 plushie,” Perry wrote in a caption. “I hope this is the one she hangs around for years until she becomes an unrecognizable shred she keeps in her pocket as a teenager 🥺 ♥ ️”
