Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s new nonprofit Archewell is coming so soon they have launched its webpage. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s archewell.com site went live today, with just a landing page defining the name of the organization and offering a sign-up for email updates.
Check out the landing page below here or check it out yourself at archewell.com.
After stepping down from their roles in the Royal Family this spring, Meghan and Harry were no longer able to use their SussexRoyal or Instagram website. Their Archewell site marks the start of their new online presence. No official Instagram or Twitter account for Archewell is live yet.
The couple explained the name of the organization and why its launch was delayed in a statement released to The telegraph in April. They said:
Like you, our goal is to support efforts to tackle the global Covid-19 pandemic, but in the face of this information being revealed, we felt compelled to relate how it happened.
Before SussexRoyal, came the idea of “Arche” – the Greek word for “source of action”.
We connected with this concept for the charity we hoped to someday create, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. Do something meaningful, do something that matters.
Archewell is a name which combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another which evokes the deep resources on which one must draw. We look forward to launching Archewell when the time comes.
