Meghan Markle isn’t often photographed by paparazzi in California, but fans got a rare glimpse of her off-duty party style on Tuesday. The Duchess of Sussex and her husband Prince Harry dated Katharine McPhee and David Foster in Montecito at Lucky’s steak house.
Meghan opted for a very fall outfit for the outing: a beige trench coat, a long camel sweater and cropped leather pants. She wore orange mule heels with and a mask because COVID-19 is still a thing. Her hair was down and wavy, and the Duchess draped her trench coat over her shoulders. Daily Mail has more photos of her outfit here.
McPhee and Meghan actually knew each other long before they were famous. The girls went to Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles together. McPhee posted a back photo of them on her Instagram in January 2019. “Meghan and I did musicals together when we were kids,” she wrote. “She grew up to be the Duchess of Sussex and I grew up playing in the West End, so same life if you ask me. #TBT.”

Foster told the Daily Mail at the time that “I felt honored to have been able to help Meghan there, because I’m a Canadian and we’re a Commonwealth country, we’re the Crown. That’s important to us, so I grew up. with that kind of feeling. I was really happy that I could help them find a break just to take a little time. “
