The creative director of Gucci Alessandro Michele he shared some thoughts with Vogue Italia about these quarantine days, telling from his home in Rome how he works remotely and describing his new routine, his hopes and the scenarios he imagines after the crisis.
Gucci recently made two donations for crowdfunding campaigns. At the local level, in Italy where the company is based, a donation of 1 million euros to the Italian Civil Protection Department in collaboration with the #ForFunding platform of Intesa San Paolo in favor of Italian health services and to create new beds in therapy intensive. Internationally, Gucci has donated € 1 million to the United Nations Foundation’s Covid-19 Solidarity Fund in support of the World Health Organization, to monitor and collect data on the spread of the virus to strengthen intensive care worldwide , provide protective equipment to healthcare professionals and accelerate the creation of vaccines and therapies.
