New dark look for Timothée Chalamet, in the first official image of Dunes.
The actor shared a post-production film frame on Instagram, among the most anticipated films of 2020.
Chalamet, protagonist together with Zendaya of the new cinematographic transposition of the science fiction novel by Frank Herbert, plays the role of Paul Atreides, son of a noble family who has been entrusted with the protection of the most precious vital element of the galaxy.
In the first image of the film, Timothée Chalamet appears with a new total black look, wrapped in a long duster with large lapels, turtleneck and black trousers, maxi belt with metal buckle, long leather gloves and the unmistakable thick dark crown.
In the 1984 film version, directed by David Lynch, the role of Chalamet had been played by Kyle MacLachlan while, the new film with Zendaya is directed by Denis Villeneuve, director of the famous remake of another sci-fi cult, Blade Runner 2049.
