If you were to leave the house in five minutes, what products would you use?
I’d lather my Embryolisse Lait-Creme Concentrate ($ 16) on my face quickly, rub Burt’s Bees Lip Balm ($ 4) on my lips, hope my skin is clear that day and finish it all off with mascara. Maybelline ($ 7)) and Charlotte Tilbury Legendary Brows Eyebrow Gel ($ 23). I would throw a hat on my head or leave the hair loose and wild!
On the days you’re not working or just staying, what is your morning and night skin routine like?
The first thing I do in the morning is rinse my face with water. If I don’t have Zoom meetings, I usually let my face soak in lotion, or walk around with a face mask or zit ointment if needed. Recently, I have loved Peter Thomas Roth eye patches and wear them religiously every morning.
I have a combo skin, so at night I will bounce back between a light exfoliator or a facial cleansing gel depending on my skin condition that day. Next, I’ll apply my oils, lotions, doctor-prescribed zit cream and more Burt’s Bees lip balm!
If we looked in your bath or shower now, what would we find? Do you have precious obsessions with body care?
I have pretty much every Yeah hair product in there! I’m trying to help my hair grow and get strong again after all the coloring and heat from Euphoria, and this brand, in particular, really helped. I have very sensitive skin so I don’t have a lot of scrubs or scented body lotions. I love to use Dove’s Body Wash for Sensitive Skin ($ 6) – I have a giant tub of it in my shower.
What is the particular feature of your beauty routine that would surprise people?
I love to put pure aloe vera on my face. I’m guilty of popping zits that shouldn’t show up and then I end up with a mark on my face that’s even worse than it should be. Aloe saves me from scars and helps reduce redness.
